Aurélie Nemours ~ PAINTER

Aurélie Nemours Studied live drawing at the Académie Colarossi. She had her first exhibition at the Salon d’Automne in 1944, followed by the 60th Salon de l’union des femmes peintres et sculpteurs [Union of Women Painters and Sculptors], the Salon de la société des artistes indépendants [Society of Independent Artists], and the Salon d’art sacré [Religious Art]. In 1949, while participating in the Salon des réalités nouvelles [New Realities] – she would continue to take part in it until 1992 – her geometric and abstract art was noticed by Auguste Herbin.

Carole Feuerman ~ SCULPTOR

American sculptor, Carole Feuerman has received international recognition for exquisitely detailed and realistic sculptures of swimmers. Feuerman began painting when she was five years old and worked as an illustrator for years, even creating award-winning paintings for the albums of The Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper and Aretha Franklin.

Leila Rose Fanner ~ PAINTER

Leila Fanner’s works you’ll usually see a dark, mysterious female figure, like a deep shadow within a lush landscape. Her artworks express something almost metaphysical. She draws inspiration from the flora and fauna in her home country of South Africa and by Art Nouveau artists like Gustav Klimt. She dresses her motifs, quite literally, in shimmering fabrics with intense colors and decorative elements which carry powerful symbolic expression and elegance that flow and nestle richly within the emotive spirit of the image.

Erwin Olaf ~ PHOTOGRAPHY

Erwin Olaf is an internationally exhibiting artist whose diverse practice centers around society’s marginalized individuals, including women, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community. In 2019 Olaf became a Knight of the Order of the Lion of the Netherlands after 500 works from his oeuvre were added to the collection of the Rijksmuseum. Taco Dibbits, Rijksmuseum director, called Olaf “one of the most important photographers of the final quarter of the 20th century”.
